ARDAR has adopted a village called Rellivalasa in Vizianagaram district in 2008. We conducted a household survey and has identified 60 old age people who are extremely poor and do not have any family to support. Many of the old people are not even in a position to cook for themselves.

With the support of donations received, we are supporting these 60 old people. ARDAR has opened a day care centre for them: “Sitharam Day Care Centre for old age persons”. The doctor visits the old age centre weekly twice and provides free treatment and medicines to any old age person who visits. If an old age person is not in a position to visit the centre then the doctor visits the home of the old age person.

We provide grocery items, household utensils, medical care and medicines costs every month. This support improves a thought of positive living in the lives of old people who are living without any support at the last stage of their life.
